Leadership Portrait

Dr. Tiffany Jones leads the foundation’s team responsible for using postsecondary data, measurement, learning, and evaluation to help reach the Postsecondary Success strategy’s goals of dramatically increasing student success and eliminating race, ethnicity, and income as predictors of that success.

Prior to joining the foundation, Tiffany led the higher education policy teams at The Education Trust and the Southern Education Foundation (SEF), where she promoted legislation to improve access and affordability at the state and federal levels and partnered with minority-serving institutions to advance student success. Prior to SEF, Jones was a dean’s fellow at the Center for Urban Education at the University of Southern California, where she helped advance an equity scorecard for minority-serving institutions and urban high schools. She holds a Ph.D. in Urban Education Policy from the University of Southern California, a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and English from Central Michigan University.
