Chrystie Hill

Leadership Portrait

Chrystie Hill leads the team responsible for developing strategies to achieve equitable outcomes for students at national scale. Her team manages a portfolio of investments designed to build and sustain networks that will help colleges and universities more easily find the tools, resources, and experts to support their redesign efforts.

Chrystie came to the foundation in 2015 following 15 years with OCLC, a global library cooperative, where she focused on designing, testing, and scaling innovations with national, state, and public libraries. Homeschooled to the age of 15, her passion for learning communities began in rare visits to her small town public library. The first in her family to attend college, Chrystie earned a B.A. in Biology and Psychology and an M.A. in History from Sarah Lawrence College, and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Washington.
