Anne Green

Anne Green, advisor to the director, leads special projects and grants that require cross-team coordination or investment for other funders. Additionally, Anne facilitates the strategy’s leadership team and manages key team operations.

Anne has worked in the non-profit sector for nearly twenty years. Most recently, Anne has been consulting in the philanthropic sector, with clients that include corporate, private and family foundations. In this capacity, Anne’s experience includes designing and launching national grantmaking programs, developing communications strategies for specific projects, and providing interim staffing support. Prior to that, Anne served as program director at People for the American Way and Director of Grantmaking at the Benton Foundation in Washington, DC.

Anne received her JD from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where she was the recipient of the Albert Ellis Scholarship for Recognition in Public Service. She received her BA with honors from Wellesley College in Massachusetts.
